When two moms pray one prayer.

There's not a whole lot I can add to this moment. After this sweet mom and I had been chatting and texting for a few days, she texted me this joy filled message making sure I knew she had received my small gift. And as always, I offered the most important thing I hold in my hand... a connection with the Lord.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." ~Philippians 4:6. 6

What I've been noticing, more and more lately, is that WE ALL have the same deep down needs. My friend and I bonded over how HARD it is to raise kids right (and the fact that now we both have the dishes we need to cook for our kids). We swapped recipes and parenting woes... and I had a chance to pray MOM to MOM for her... "God, give us wisdom-Help us follow you, and thanks for providing!" And her response sums it all up nicely.

"I LOVE THAT FOR US!"

This week, I'm praying that God will allow us- in every situation- to turn to him with confident and thankful hearts. May he use that confidence to steer our neighbors toward his power. ~Amen... I love that for us!
