Lift up your eyes.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” — John 4:34-35 (NKJV) Jesus and His disciples are traveling from Judea to Galilee. Even though Jewish travelers usually avoid Samaria because of ethnic and religious bad blood, Jesus “has to” walk straight thr

Spiritual Trajectory.

In Joshua 1:7 God is instructing the newly appointed leader. Joshua has never done this job before. He's not entirely convinced that it fits his skill set. Can you IMAGINE how that feels.(wink wink) ... We can read God's encouragement to him throughout the passage and infer that God knew exactly what he was up against. God explicitly tells Joshua multiple times in quick succession to "be strong and courageous" ,"be strong and very courageous" and "do not be terrified; do

Prayer.

Lilias Trotter was a master watercolorist who gave up wealth and artistic fame to become a missionary in Algiers. Fill Out your Serve Profile:

I'm so excited to tell you about this tiny upgrade in the CarePortal Platform and the impact it has had on our church. It's called the Serve Profile. Here's how it works. 1. you join a response team. (I am very proud to say that I marked YES on that one!) Do you speak Spanish? And fill your zip code so that you c

First and Last thought of the day.

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go,for to you I entrust my life.” ~Psalm 143:8. If you read the whole chapter, and I think you should, you’ll find David, the psalmist- the song writer- the poet...pouring out his heart to God. It reads almost like a bedtime prayer. It includes groans for mercy, a description of his mistreatment at the hands of his enemies... he calls his spirit faint and his hea

” We aren't called to be successful. We are called to be faithful.”

Hi, I’m Renae

Children's Pastor, Missionary, and Church Planter ...Called to Church Mobilization.

I love a good testimony. I love to watch God work... and I've been using the CarePortal platform to show me where to look. Miracles are becoming almost mundane... because the families I work with REQUIRE a miracle in order to survive. CarePortal gives me a front row seat to watch God work in lives around the world and right here in my neighborhood.

I am praying that these stories provide momentum and encouragement to YOU and your community.
