Bear one another's burdens.

Today I'm posting a simple prayer from my heart. Pray with me.

Father, thank You for the brothers and sisters in this faith community. Thank You for the individual uniqueness and gifts you've placed here, and for the Holy Spirit that unifies us through Christ Jesus.

Forgive for the times we have not served one another in love. Holy Spirit, work in us and help us to love Your Children as Jesus does. Teach us what it means to walk with one another and carry each other’s burdens.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Give us patience to bear with those who are weaker or newer in the faith and grant us the humility to receive encouragement and correction from those who are spiritually stronger and wiser.

God bless those who are weighed down with cares and burdens too great for them to bear. Fill all of us with joy and peace and overflowing hope as we reach out, pick up some weight and lend a hand where we can.

Teach us to truly learn to carry each other’s burdens. Help us to walk in love with one another that Your church can accomplish everything you have tasked us with. ~Amen.
